After the first snowfall of 2016, I took my DJI Phantom 3 Professional out for a little spin to see how it did in the cold and windy climate. This day was -10°C with a wind speed of about 30kph, so it was a little battle of the elements. In none of these shots was I directly over the road just in case there were any performance issues, of which there were very little. The battery voltage remained fairly even while hovering in the sub zero temperatures. The drone and gimbal also did a pretty good job at keeping the shot stable in the cold winds. There was a small amount of lateral deviation and at one point you can see the landing gear struggling, but it was relatively still in these semi-harsh conditions.
